The building authority shall possess all powers necessary to carry out the purposes
thereof and those incident thereto. It may acquire property by purchase, lease, gift,
devise or condemnation, either within or without its corporate limits, and may hold,
manage, control, sell, exchange, or lease such property as authorized and permitted
by Act No. 31 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1948 (Extra Session) (MCL 123.951
et seq.), as amended.
